Dr Ayas qualiifed in 1994 and trained in the Yorkshire Group of Hospitals including Leeds (1998-2003), which is one of the leading Units in the UK for developing management protocols of patients with Inflammatory Arthritis. Dr Ayas joined the Rheumatology Department, Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny as a Consultant in 2003 and holds specialist Clinics for Early Arthritis and Osteporosis in Blaina and Chepstow.
