Profile:

Mr Rhidian Hurle graduated from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine, Cardiff in 1995. He undertook basic surgical and higher urological training in Wales and is now an NHS Urological Consultant Surgeon in Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board working at the Princess of Wales and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals, South Wales.

Mr Hurle has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of all general urological problems including blood in urine (haematuria), urinary infection (cystitis), benign prostate diseases and kidney stones.

In 2008 Mr Hurle was awarded an MD from Cardiff University for research into prostate cancer in 2008. He is an Honorary Clinical Teacher (Cardiff University), an Approved Educational Supervisor, sits on the South Wales Specialist Training Committee for urology, a Royal College of Surgeons of England Surgical Tutor and is studying for a Masters degree in Medical Education.

Mr Hurle is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgery (BAUS), the British Medical Association (BMA), the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the European Association of Urology. GMC: 4154934
