Mrs Ashraf completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Wales and has been appointed as a Consultant since August 2002 at the Aneurin Bevan Health Board, working at both the Royal Gwent Hospital and Caerphilly District Miners Hospital.
In St Joseph's Hospital Mrs Ashraf practices all areas of Gynaecology.
Mrs Ashraf has a special interest in female incontinence and prolapse and offers minimally invasive treatments. Mrs Ashraf is a member of the International Continence Society and the British Society of Urogynaecology.
In addition Mrs Ashraf is fully accredited by the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology which enables her to provide advice and treatment for abnormal smears.
