Profile:

Mrs Gokhale qualified from Mumbai in 1989.  Postgraduate training in England and Wales.  Trained in the West Midlands and South Western Deaneries.

Mrs Gokhale was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal Gwent Hospital in 2003.  Clinical Lead in Gynaecology since 2008.  Set up Outpatient Hysteroscopy service for postmenopausal bleeding. Developed the pathway for the management of menorrhagia and adapted the Map of Medicine to fit the local services.

• MSc in Reproductive Healthcare in 2003
• FRCOG in 2009
