Profile:

Dr Dawson is a Consultant Neurologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London.  Having completed Neurology Training in South Wales, he has been in Consultant Practice since 1996, initially for seven years at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, where he was also Trust lead clinican for stroke and subsequently at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny since 2003.

Dr Dawson is a general Neurologist dealing with both acute and chronic neurological problems.  He provides a general neurology service, as well as disease specific clinics in Gwent for Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis.  Dr Dawson also carries out regional clinics for Dystonia and Motor Neurone Disease. 

Dr Dawson has received training and had wide clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation.
