At St. Joseph's Hospital most procedures and treatments do require a referral letter from your GP.

As a patient you have the right to treatment from the specialist of your choice. Your GP or another specialist can help you choose the right doctor for you. To assist you in this choice we have compiled a list of consultants and their specialties, and this can be viewed by clicking on Consultants at the top of the page.

In most cases after your GP referral, your surgery will ring us to arrange an outpatient consultation. If your surgery has instructed you to call then please do so on 01633 820344 and our operators will guide you through the process.

Your in-patient booking will be discussed and arranged as a result of your outpatient consultation.

Health Screening and Physiotherapy services do not require a GP referral letter. For more information on these and our other services please choose one of the options from the right.
