Profile:

Mr Aled Evans studied at Cardiff Medical School qualifying in 1996.  He entered the All Wales Orthopaedic training programme in 2000 and during this undertook a years fellowship in Adelaide, Australia, increasing his experience in hip and knee surgery.

Mr Evans was appointed Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Gwent Hospital and St Woolos Hospital in 2006 and registered for Private Practice at St Joseph's Hospital in 2007 and undertakes general trauma and lower limb elective surgery.

Mr Evans area of specialty is hip and knee surgery including full and partial replacements, resurfacing, revision procedures and keyhole surgery (Arthroscopy).
