Admissions

Before admission you will be asked to attend a pre-admission appointment. You will be assessed to make sure you are fit for the operation, and there will be an opportunity to discuss any queries you may have. You will receive relevant information concerning your procedure and you will be asked for consent for anaesthetic. We will also discuss with you any family support or other discharge plans which may need to be put in place.

Your length of stay will depend on your procedure and your consultant.

Where to go when you arrive 

On the day of admission please go to the main hospital reception desk which is signposted from the car park. Once you are registered a member of the ward team will greet you and accompany you to your room.
